  1. My buddy Steve and I did 401 on Saturday and it was wonderful as usual.
Recent rains have made the trail surface firm and tacky. They have also
made the flowers and other vegetation just go crazy. We had the flower
tunnel effect going for a while on the DH. I took a few pics, but once
we really got going there wasn't much stopping. It was too much fun and
we didn't want to get passed by a slower group (we saw maybe a dozen
    other people on the trail).

Cool storm over the W on Saturday night from my porch:

Then Sunday while MrsB rode 401 with a friend of hers I took my boy up
to summit his first mountain, Signal Peak, which overlooks town. I think
    he liked it!

Helluva lot greener than when G, J and I joined you up there. Absolutely
the best pure singletrack and fun descent ever combined in one ride AFAIR.

    Great pics.

I have to go interview for a job.

My wife's not stupid.......far from it.

If she didn't make so much money at her job, we'd be there........(why do
you think I have so much free time?)

I don't think I'd have to interview for a job swinging a hammer and I've
tried to get an interview at the engineering place in Montrose (hi-tech
aerospace composites) but they wouldn't give me the time of day!

there's always mushing the dogs this winter........but that, pardon the
expression, bites into my weekend riding time.

If you need a reference, let me know. I can make up some good fluffy sh!t.

Gary? Great engineer. You know that sound an airplane toilet makes
when you flush it? Yup, that was all his idea.

That would be kind of fun though. And what riding are you going to
possibly do in Ridgeway during the winter?
