I can almost confirm, that a rollapaluza will be done in Melboure. I was at the courier alley cat on MOnday night, and they were discussing about organising one. Looks like it might either be at the TOTE, or the Public Bar. When I know, you all will.......

'Cycling Sooty Park' on Channel 31

The show, which will commence in January 2006, will also see the return of the Rollers competition that used to feature on ‘World of Sport’ back in the 70’s and 80’s, although the rollers will be replaced by Computrainers, with digital readouts on screen. ‘Sooty Park’ is keen to have all the groups that ride Beach Rd (Melbourne) represented in the competition, i.e. Bay Riders, Bandidos, Pack of Aces, Brumby’s Group etc. They can contact the show by email [email hidden] or on 0415 866 061

Funnily enuff we regularly pass david (going opposite way) out in the hills near St Andrews. I think it might have been him/her team shooting/interviewing some stuff at Kew crits a couple of weeks ago?

Sooty Park was down filming the Kew crits last week. They wanted to
interview some riders but all they managed to find was me and TimC, talk
about scraping the bottom of the bowl.

Well, as the risk of being called a 'non-rider'....I will be doing the MTB community proud in the rollapauluza (not on my mtb of course).....fingers crossed that point the rollers up!!!

would love to have a go but have haunting memories of my one and only try on rollers when I mastered the art of 'lateral-dismount' and kept imagining that wall in front of me leaping out to whack me one 🙄
