Anyone know a stockist of salmon koolstops in London,
as this seems to be the preferred brand of the group?
Don't know about London shops, but Wiggle do Koolstop Salmons in
various guises.

Any idea what I should look for - my bike low end roadbike,
aluminium frame, 700C wheels.
There are Shimao wheels, £80. All black - nice.
Also another set which said they were suitable for cyclosportifs.
Would Sir perhaps like to consider a handbuilt pair, rather than
machine made wheels? If you're spending 80 quid sort of money, then
you're into proper wheel territory. Eighty pounds won't buy top notch
components, but certainly a nice and longlasting wheelset. You could
choose your own modest hubs, rims and spokes to match your specific
needs, and have them made up by a proper wheelbuilder. Should end up
with a fine pair (Fnarr Fnarr).
