I have some scars I got as a kid. That was about 35 years ago and they are still quite visible (gash
on my right knee after falling and skidding on asphalt and one on my head though my thinnning hair
does cover it up).The road/trail rash scars usually go away if they aren't too deep.
Besides it's a medal of honor kind of thing.

them. Well, so do my forearms, afatg. I've finally outgrown this permanent black-n-blue bruise on my
hip from about 7 yrs ago when I started out in clipless, and kept falling onto my left side.IMO, Scars are tatoos with better stories.
