Someone knows anything about this brand ? I found a carbon bike for a very good price but I don't know anything about the brand.

I had one I bought a few years ago. Ultegra 6600 10 speed. The wheels were pretty weak with broken spokes problems. But I weighed 105kg then so that isn't so strange with 16 spokes or whatever it came with. The frame was also a bit soft, but again maybe just for my 105kg. It was a comfortable bike that I would have kept if it were less soft. If you weigh a normal amount, I'd think it would be quite nice.
Much nicer than the Fuji you asked about the other day. I've tried one of those and they were REALLY soft.

Scattante was the road frame house brand of Supergo, a U.S. chain of bike shops with a large mail-order unit. Surprisingly, the brand has survived the absorption of Supergo by Performance Bike Shop, another U.S. chain of bike shops with a large mail-order unit. Scattantes now sit alongside Tirennos (Performance's house brand), Fujis, Schwinns, and Iron Horses.
All of these bikes are almost certainly made at the same factory in China.

My Scattante had a nice Made In Taiwan sticker on the headtube. I don't know about the others, but the Fuji is definitely from a different factory.

Really ?!!?!? I was thinking the opposite !!! I'll have a test drive today and I'll let you know my final decision.
I have another shop where I can get a FELT, F4C probably but the price is 400/500 $ highter than any Scattante or Fuji.

Another thing I didn't like about the Fuji was the mish-mash of components. Ultegra this, 105 that, some Cane Creek here, some whoknowswhat there. The Scattante was much more homogeneously put together with Ultegra (chain too!). I rode the Scattante for several 1000 km, but I only tried the Fuji for a few km. It seemed more flexible in the bb. I could scrape the chain on the fd seated on BOTH SIDES of the fd cage.
The Felt is pretty nice, but $500 is a lot of money. I'd rather get the Scattante and buy some nice wheels too for the extra money.

Really? My experience is totally different than yours. And I have ridden stiff frames (Klein, etc...).
I have a Klein too, among other things. It just seemed spongy, and I could scrape the fd on the chain seated. Both sides of the fd cage could be made to scrape, so it wasn't an adjustment issue. Maybe the US market frames come from a different factory that the European market ones?

Hmmm... built my own frame up with my own Record/Chorus. Yah, sounds iffy that way. Most are built up full Shimano or Campy (all the same level) that I've seen on their web site.

Interesting. Could be a wimpy crank/bb (most likely) cuz I can't do that ever with mine. I weigh as much as 225 in early season and can't get a grind outta my Record crank/fder EVER.

Good Bike. My riding partner rides one. It is a 10 speed ultegra equipped model. 2 years old now. He has about 8000 miles on it and loves. If the wheels are KORSO, however, the hubs are junk. The spoke holes on the rear hub tore out within 4000 miles of riding.
My buddy weighs 165 pounds.
Also this bike has a integrated headset which could be a problem when it is time to replace.

yes, the wheels suck. It wasn't strange they died under my 230 lbs, but even under somebody 165!

I think it was a Cane Creek IS2. Reasonably standard as those things go.

The 2007 stuff seems much more evenly spec'ed (and nicer graphics IMO). Built up from a frame it sounds pretty good. The mish-mash of components was really irritating if nothing else because it made straight-up comparisons with other bikes hard to do.

Shimano cages are narrower, but still you are probably right. I don't recall exactly, but it was I think some Truvativ crank. It's pre-season now and I'm still down to 215! Things are looking good! ;-)
