drugs on alternate days. Ie, maybe 5% on Monday, and a different 5% on Tuesday.

I am not so sure...when I was in high school, over 20 years ago, at least one week a month I had
motrin on me, to take at lunch time. Nowadays, students cannot even have *cough drops* on their persons--
my son keeps a "stash" of cough drops in the nurse's office...

So, yes, I believe that this affects findings to some degree, especially when compared to schools

I guess you are thinking about the kids on ritalin who have to have their fix every day. But others
get their meds less often. Eg, Sumbuny said that she would get motrin during one week per month.

All the more reason to homeschool. It's none of the school's goddamn business what medication kids
are on and for what condition. I've hid my ADD diagnosis from instructors as much as I could
simply because I didn't want to be treated differently unless I actually needed extra
accommodations for ADD.

Exactly. My personal daily "fix" just happens to be aspirin, hardly something worth seeing a
"dealer" to obtain or something I could do without either.

My daughter gets migraines, and needs to take ibuprofen and lie down immediately when she gets the
symptoms. So we had to get a permission slip from the doctor and give it and the ibuprofen to the
school nurse. DD *cannot* carry it herself.
