Thank You Skewter. I was thinking along the same lines, what with the uninformed leading the ignorant armed with unfounded rumor and biased yet factually baseless opinions.

All you folks who are mindlessly speculating on 'roid rage, alcohol based alteration of T/E ratios, low levels , high levels, etc. give it up! There are only few facts here. There was a out of range T/E ratio noted for Landis. Most everything else is based either on "leaks" by somebody who may know, or "expert opinions" by experts who do not have access to the case, or by flat out dumb-ass statements. Quit trying to formulate a case until some more facts are known.

Yes and they (dope control) are still picking apart 1 maybe incident 7 years later as LA continued to win the TDF year after year. Whats the matter they couldnt find anything on lance from the tours 2000,2001,2002,2003,2004 and finally 2005. Guess he was 100% clean all those years since they focused on 1999, sounds like the presidents election here, they bring up some sh&%^t that happened when they were 18. :eek:

I concur, I just hope test B is negative because I do like Floyd and beleive he is a man of morals. I don't know much about the tests and am trying to educate myself and it seems that it isn't the most reliable of tests. I also work at an ivy league teaching hospital and some Doc's were talking about why someone would take testosterone in the middle of a race,positive effects take weeks not hours from what they've read? From what I've read his previous tests during the TDF were WNL😕

The way I understand it, the B sample is pretty much the same as the A sample. Both taken at the same time, examined by the same lab, same procedures. Floyd himself has already stated that he doesn't expect the B sample to be any different than than the A sample. So, badaboom, he's tested positive, that's it. The B sample isn't going to mean anything. Why is everyone wondering what will happen after the B sample results are made public?

i believe the a and b test system is international standard, and two samples are to be taken and tested by 2 different labs, thus lessening the chance that one incompetent or vindictive lab or tester could ruin an athlete.
