That is a nice looking bike, sorta what a Bianchi Milano could have been
had they detailed it like the Bianchi Regina in Milano.

A buddy of mine in Gothenburg has a "Natur" Skeppshult--the really old-
timey looking one with grey tires, and hidden modernities such as an
Nexus hub, dynohub, and the like. Fantastic. The Swedish bikes have a
more modern geometry compared to Dutch fiets or traditional English
roadsters. Hill climbing while standing is actually not a daunting
exercise.

Hmmm, haven't priced out standard Swedish bikes in a while, but
they're getting into Shimano generator hubs now, finally. The Swedes
were hapless bottle generator geeks for too many years. Seems $1K gets
you a fully decked out bike with all the fixins--even a fork turned
the right way:

Having hefted the modern Swedish ones, I'd venture that fella weighs
around 32-35 pounds. A 38# dutch bike? Nah, more like 50 for a
standard fiets.
