I, like i`m sure many here try to use the car as little as
possible and walk to work/town/pub/...etc. I can`t believe I
am alone in being unable to find a decent pair of shoes that
will survive more than a couple of months pavement walking.
So, sure, I don`t dress up smart for work and wear the same
shoes anytime i`m out but a couple of months and the uppers
are still in good nick but the soles are worn right through.
I`ve always bought Clarkes, thinking they were good quality
or is this just an indication of how little walking the
average person does these days? Does anyone else have this
problem and what brands seem to last better? Perhaps I
should start wearing my new Scarpa SL`s around town! I think
they must be the best piece of kit i`ve purchased.
