Do any of you have the problem od cleats squeeking on SIDI shoes?
I'm 210 lbs and when I stand to climb I have this squeak.
If you have the same, how did you stop it.

Have you tried lubing the pedals and cleats?

What brand pedals do you have? LOOK pedals/cleats are notorious for squeaking. Spray some Armorall on the cleats for about 40 miles of welcome silence.

Lil bit of chapstick is a good cleat lube.

One thing that could be happening is your shoe might be rubbing on the crank arm.

I just bought a new pair of SIDI's using my old cleats and guess what NO SQUEEKS! I think it maybe my plate under the cleat itself. I'm having my bike deal order me a new one to see what happens.... Thanks folks turtle

Yes, they squeak.
I cured mine by trimming the rubber - more away from the cleat.
