It looks very like the Skye Cuillin. Not sure where it would be taken
from though, possibly the track along Loch Scavaig ?

It's Skye alright. the filename gives it away. The cottage looks to be
the last house in Elgol at the track to Camasunary along Loch Scavaig.

Hi Phil, I never even though of looking for file names, much to naive
I suppose. He has some great pics there though, also really like the
one of the sisters taken from the Ratagan Pass. Beautiful colours,
just wish I had either the time, eye or ability to take pics like
those

hunting through the various bits of information hidden amongst
'properties'.

It shows up in the status bar in IE6 when you hover over the
thumbnail.

I can tell you he took it in April last year on a Canon EOS D300
1/200th at f.11 focal length 48mm, so a mild telephoto equivalent to
75mm on a 35mm.

The Sisters were taken in April 2003 (a year before the Cuillin from
Elgol) on a Canon G2 - clever stuff EXIF data. Provided you use
software that preserves it you can let people see what kit you use
without telling them.
