The IRC servers which provide our chat service are having trouble tonight.
If you're trying to get into the channel but can't, try one of these two
servers:
irc2.penguinpowered.ca
irc5.penguinpowered.ca
Crash is the only one in there now, but I'll drop in after "House, M.D." is
over.

Once again I tried it but couldn't get on. It makes my computer bog
down so I have to get off line. I miss you guys! This is a mac
computer, only a couple of months old. Don't talk about me when I can't
be there : )

It appears that I do, as I see some Java items when I look up "About
this Mac." Also, I can play online computer games.
Once again I tried to get into the chat and was booted. After it said
"loading Java" I got that little colorful circle that tells me I'm sol.
Crash and Dams have tried to help me on this to no avail. Oh well!
Dinner tonight will probably be rib steaks. Probably some of those
potatoes and onions in foil on the grill and that Stouffer's spinach
souffle. It's hot here and I'm damned lazy.
I don't have a garden anymore due to too much shade here, but have two
tomato plants in containers. One is an Early Girl and the other is
some sort of large cherry tomato plant. I counted about 5 little
fruits on each plant. I am dreaming of a great BLT!

karen, you might want to look into an mac irc client like "Snak". it's
specifically for connecting mac's to irc. there may even be some freeware mac
irc clients floating around. someone around here probably has the answer 🙂
