    How does one create/use a "spam midden" in google groups?

    The most effective thing with google groups is to use a quasi-anonymous
    or anonymous email system, such as a hotmail account.

    Whether or not you ever check the email account afterwards is optional,
    but I check mine regularly, and see very little trash get past the spam
    filter.

    Good idea. When I used it, which is rare, I actually post with my real
    live Gmail account. Seems Google does an unbelievable job filtering out
    the chaff. Can't remember getting spammed in months.
