problems.
Mostly? MTB stuff is probably stronger anyway but I don't like the high
rolling resistance.

Are we talking at cross purposes here? A freewheel hub is one which takesa
separate freewheel, which screws on. A freehub has the ratchet mechanism

Got it! I didn't realise the bearings were on the outside of the
ratchet mechanism, though I am still doubtful about hollow axles.
