I have a cyst that is infected where my saddle attaches and I had this
idea that there are some saddles that might allow a return to the bike
sooner than the typical modern saddles. I have late 90s Selle Italia
"Max Flite Trans Am"s and (I have used this model since about 1995
before the holes invaded the market but they still work better than
about anything else I have tried. However, I recall seeing a saddle
that has a woven surface that I think is suspended somewhat like a
hammock under tension. I think this would be great for saddle sore
situations and it would be nice to have to throw on ASAP and any other
time I get a saddle sore. It is like the water-bed of saddles:>😉
Anyway, it seems like it would even prevent a lot of similar problems.
I'd like to keep it set up on an extra seatpost as needed.
I can't remember where I saw this or any model or manufacturer names. I
might have seen it at Performance Bike online but it is not there now.
Any ideas about that or a similar saddle would be appreciated.
TIA
