Because you didn't look very hard; PDA and NYBarbell both sell standard
parallel-grip deadlift bars. PDA in particular has a lot of variations, thick
grip, multiple grips!, standard or Olympic, different sizes and finishes....Al Gerard specifically is just a guy, maybe doesn't have enough tooling to do a
bunch of different models. -
