  1. Hey everyone! My name's Mallory, I'm a student at Cleveland State University and I'm doing some research for a class on cycling- [HASHTAG]#adulting[/HASHTAG]. Here's my spiel about how if you do this survey for me you'll be contributing to helping me become a more well-rounded, better student etc etc. Should only take about 10 min. I will be paying in high fives and/or infallible gratitude. Thanks friends!

PS- if you're feeling extra generous and want to force your friends to take this as well, it would be greatly appreciated!

  2. CSU? I feel so sorry for you that I took your survey.

The college is better than the city itself. But hey, thanks for taking the survey! As thanks I will send you a coupon for already-discounted Browns tickets.

  4. Finished your survey. Good Luck!

Heh! I have not been to a Clowns game since they tore the old stadium down. Good luck with your project.

    thank you so much!

  7. So you want to invent pedals that'll let the feet slip sideways?
What do you hope to gain from that?
Unless accompanied by a thorough crank and bottom bracket rebuild, it won't add any power to the bike or speed to the ride.
Would the foot be free to slide, or would there be a spring keeping the foot centered, or push it back in?
You can already buy Kneesavers AKA pedal axle extenders, if a wider stance or heel inwards position is required.
Pedals with lots of "float" are also available.
Wedges to adjust the roll angle of the sole of the foot are also available.
Only degree of freedom I've not seen realized is a pedal that'd let your foot roll sideways while retaining a positive engagement.
I'd be more interested in that.
