Sunglasses?

Oakley M-Frame for the variety of lens shapes (can find one that sits only on the bridge of nose without hitting other parts of face). Also, polarized lenses because glare can sometimes make bumps and holes hard to see.

You should look at Tifosi. They're quality glasses that are priced very well. I agree about getting polarized lenses, if possible. Polarized lenses reduce eye strain, improve contrast, and kill a lot of glare. Make sure your lenses provide UV protection.

Found a nice pair of Rudy Project sunglasses at www.teamextremeeyewear.com think im going to stick with those. THANKS!!

Tifosi Tyrant or Pave..both $60, get darker/lighter depending on the light. I just bought some for me! Winter glasses.

I use BBB Navigators Do everything needed on the commute and club rides, but I must admit to some Bloc Bladesfor those days when I'm being really shallow :o

I have a pair of oakley Radar's and I LOVE them. They dont put any pressure behind my ears which is great. last pair of cheapo glasses I had put a lot of pressure there and gave me headaches on my riding.

smith is also good, but same price-category as Rudy Project

Oakley is awsome material, but even more expensive than Rudy Project

You pay a lot, but they last easily for 5 years of extensive use.

2 other brands that are affordable:

BBB (like wooliferkins indicated) I had 3 of those, the fit is rather good, they are light, fairly good lenses, and they survive 1 to 2 years of extensive use

Sinner, same as BBB, but little better quality (just had 1 of it)

find riding glasses distort your vission a bit maybe the more exspencive ones donot have this problem have razor ones bout 10 euros told they were bargain lens very clear but give the sensation of riding higher on the road ...

More money buys you lenses w/ fewer or smaller aberrations.

I am using Polarized Sunglasses . it was bought on ebay, it is cheap and fashion. and Polarized sunglasses shield eyes from harmful UV rays effectively and it can break down harsh light. It is better than ordinary Sunglasses

I wear clear glasses for safety. They arn't oakley or Rudy Project, but they look pretty good.

Hey Hod, not to hijack this thread...but awhile back you were having some issues with seatbone pain on your longer rides. did you get that figured out?

not really para ,havnt done big milers since only 65 and was still a bit sore havnt changed saddle yet ,am thinking of up grading bike so may have a better saddle on new one maybe .........

Well, just hang in there and ride as much as you can without hurting yourself, you'll figure out what to do as you have the time and money. 😎

Oakley Jawbone, very expensive but you can replace the Lenses which is the reason I always buy new Glasses, cant see out of the Scratched Lenses, they are very light fit under your helmet and straps ok and can see out of them when in the drops, is the extra $$$$$ worth it I think so..
