Sunglasses: Polarized or Not?

Polarized make sense because of the physics of reflected (polarized light waves). For ladies out there, check many people with sunglasses they still squint, polarized filters reduce this effect significantly and supposed crows feet.

The down side is that by their nature polarised are darker and not good in low light, you dont find them in yellow/orange tints that are good for low light.

A minor issue is many LCD displays are often hard to read with Polarized but you can easily "look over the top" of them.

A safety feature with polaroid is that in glarey situations you can often see through windscreens to see where a drivers attention is.

BTW the blotchy patterns in rear windows of cars is apparently the difference in stress in the glass, or so a auto glass maker told me years ago, if you havent worn polarized, you will wonder what the hell Im talking about.
