(if that doesn't work, it's the tchibo site, best sellers
tag) I don't know if they're any good, but I do own both the
cape and jacket from that page, and they're ok-ish . The
cape should be a more visible colour, the jacket should have
more reflective stuff on.

Couple of questions that will help with suggestions......

1. Do you need layback or would an in-line one do? (Most are
in-line, especially most cheap ones).

2. How high is saddle, from top of top tube to saddle rails?
In other words, what miniumum exposed seatpost length is
required? (Might be a problem if frame is large and
saddle is very low). Note. Suspension compression should
be taken into account (amount it lowers when sat on).

I've got a Post Moderne Bracer Road (£50) - doesn't do very
much, to be frank.

I bought a 'Zoom' one from Half*rds - £17. I thought it was
good value, it's certainly better than the KAlloy one it
replaced. It came with three springs to adjust for different
body weights and a shim so it fits 27.2 and
28.6 seat tube sizes. I think sus seatposts are good for on
road riding, it certainly helps take some of the impact
out of going over speed bumps and poor road surfaces and
gives a pleasanter ride. I like it.

I've got a USE SX on my cyclo-cross bike, and I swear by it,
but tbh, if it isnt going to be used off-road, then I
wouldnt bother with one.The runners inside it need replacing
once, or even twice a year (£10 a time), and it cost £60
initially, so it isnt really a bargain piece of equipment,
but it certainly takes the 'sting' out of bumps. Alan.
