Both are new to road cycling she rides a 2012 felt zw95. We have noticed when her tires are properly filled when taking them off it is tough to squeeze thru the brake pads even after releasing them with the switch. Is this okay? She is only 5'2" so probably rides the smallest version, our lbs said no big deal but I am thinking it may do damage to the inner walls of tires or even brake pads. Or am I babying or new baby's too much? Also, we did loosen the brakes which in turn made the closed position wider and allowed her small hands to hold to brakes without braking If need be. Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks
