Got through the Thanksgiving meal just fine! Had the turkey and a large
salad. 9 of us in all,,,,and after everyone left,,,,,I gave the dinner rolls
away, and the remaining apple & pumpkin pie.

following morning I didn't have a twinge throwing out the leftover gravy
and stuffing. Today I'm back on track and have lost a pound. Went from
243.5 to 244 to 242.4 over the holiday weekend. We had Thanksgiving on
Sunday. It did raise my BG a bit but it kept under 9 mmol so I was fairly
happy. This mornig it is back on track 5.7 a very good fasting BG reading.--

I did a ham instead of turkey because I didn't want to have to deal with
the stuffing issue, which to me is the best part of the meal. :-)
I glazed the ham with a mixture of LC jam, dijon mustard and ground ginger.
It turned out beautifully!on Mon, 11 Oct 2004 23:03:20 -0400, "sandy" <[email hidden]>

Pork rinds make great stuffing. You'd be surprised!
