I've justfinished a good 6 hour marathon, making tomorrow's
All-packed-for-the-road Thanksgiving Romantic Getaway for Two. We're
putting everything into coolers and driving down, about 2 hours, to the
Outer Banks of North Carolina. We have a suite with a gas fireplace and
a kitchenette and an ocean view. We're going to heat up everything I
made in the microwave or on the small 2 burner stove in the room and
have a nice cozy thanksgiving together. My daughter's off visiting her
dad, so we even get to sleep in!
I eat some seafood, but I don't eat any meat or poultry whatseover and
don't like the smell of it cooking in the house. (I gengerall call
myself a vegetarian who eats fish, but I've gotten yelled at around
here for that, so I choose my words carefully!)
He's a full-on carnivore, so he bought the whole roasted turkey breast
and gravy form Boston Market.
I made the rest.
