11 km Popovych accelerates!! Armstrong says slow down!! But the group has been split!! ULLRICH DROPPED!!! HE CANNOT KEEP UP WITH THE PACE!!

That is wrong....Armstrong came up and told Popo to pick up the pace. After a few moments Popo was dropped

Looking at the video evidence I think Popo was nearly wasted so Lance told him to use his last energy to attack and put some pressure on the others. Popo duly attacks and drops away to let Armstrong lead on.
