The Lance Commercials - re-edited

he'd love to win it again- sure. but in the fall and winter he relaxed too
much, played with his kids and enjoyed staying indoors when it was raining
etc. so in my opinion, he let it slide a bit and at his age, things can slip
away too much unless you stay focused.

I think last year he had a 10 million dollar performance bonus spurring
him on, as well as the the immortal sixth. Now if he had a 20 million
bonus on the line for this year, well I think the preparation would be
more intense. YMMV.

Money can only go so far. For me, if I didn't have to work, yeah I'd love to
spend my days playing with the kids and cycling like I used too; but an
extra $20 million- at that stage, what more would it buy me that I don't
already value and have? Beside, there isn't $20 million for a us cycling
team.

Actually, he's the one non-religious type who actually could- He's a Sports
Hero, a Celebrity, has an inspiring story, lots 'o money, celebrity friends
AND is from the South. And Austin votes for tree-huggers, pro-choise,
anti-Iraq war representatives.
