The Right Shoe

Sidi shoes tend to run narrow. I also have a narrow foot and wear the Hi-Tech Carbon which have adjuster dials in place of straps, they give a better fit than the straps on the other models, ie Genius IMO.

Thanks. I'll look into Sidi shoes... Definately want the carbon sole, and the dials sound good... Just have to convince my parents now... 🙁

I agree that Sidi is a good choice but I also advise you to get to a shop and try some on before buying. Buying without trying when it come to cyling shoes is a mistake.

The best shoes are ones that fit. Like any shoe, different brands fit differently. Try some on, they should fit like any shoe. DMT are pretty narrow but ya gotta try them on. All modern road cycling shoes use the 3 bolt cleat attach 'system' for any road pedals.

Unfortunately you're all right when it comes to buying cycling shoes - you need to try them on... I was just looking for some brand names to look out for when I go into a shop to finally buy the shoes... Both shoe brands look reasonably good, but the decision will come down to the final fit (🙂)... Thanks again

I have really wide feet in the 4E area and use Sidi Mega and Carnac. I like the Sidi more.
