They are only offering you a share. It is a friendly way for the local

Clydebank was a separate borough. These days I guess its part of West
Dunbartonshire.

Yoker marks the boundary - being the only place in the area for many
years where you could get real ale. (Actually, the boundary would be the
Yoker Mill burn.)

Clydebank's history is quite interesting. It is a town which didn't
exist 150 years ago. It was formed round the tenement buildings built
for the John Browns shipyard workers.

David, I apologise. As someone brought up in Clydebank, it is my duty of
course to defend the place. It really does have some grim areas. (Some?)
And yes, I can trot out history etc. Its not in Glasgow officially, but
most people on this forum wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
And it makes not much difference if you get a Glasgow kiss or a Bankie jiss.
