Ah well, it was the '50s. :-) He wrote a few of his biggest songs when he was 13 or 14, and had his first hit (Diana) when he was 16. He had most of his biggest hits before he was 20.

I quite like the Ross Ryan album My Name means Horse. It is was one of the albums that I discovered in my parent's record collection a few years back.

Why do cyclists have to put on lycra for every media occasion? I can't think of any other sport where the athletes have to dress up in their competition clothes just to do a media interview.

That explains why they're only 6th on the NRS Teams Aggregate - walking instead of cycling.

Their goals are elsewhere. They haven't raced all the NRS events, so you can't compare them to those who have.

I hope for their sakes that they don't use speedplay pedals and are walking around in their cycling shoes... They'll be farked if they are. A dozen guys unable to unclip at the first stop sign would be very comical.

It happened to me 3 times yesterday! I held the door open, and nothing....crickets....I couldn't believe it! Ha! Yep, all young people (under 25). Bloody Gen Y. Ha

And Simon and Garfunkel, and the Beatles of course. Oh yeah and the Animals. LOVE them. From a road trip not too many years ago, I found out she had liked Billy Thorpe, but he obviously got a bit too risque as she got a bit too Christian, so don't remember much of that.

Thinking back, they were actually quite formative for my musical inclinations. I'm not the biggest fan of the 3 minute pop song 'limit', as evidenced by some dingdong arguments with Lindy Morrison back in the day as we were attempting to record stuff, but it does have it's charms.

Well you guess wrong - I don't mind Herman's Hermits. Also Gerry and the Pacemakers and Eric Burdon and the Animals. Not big on Simon and Garfunkel. Beatles are ok, I like most, but not all, of their songs. Big on early Pink Floyd, and I'm into The Moody Blues.
