It's a weird world in Albury-Wodonga right now. Damien Gillard who has come 5th in his age group in the 24hr MTB champs won the local triathlon, whilst Taryn Heather was the first female. Meanwhile in the local interclub bike race on a hilly course out at lake Hume, triathlete Jesse Feotonby rode away from A-grade. To further confuse things my training partner started running when I did and just came 2nd in a Duathlon at Wagga.

So yesterday I was in the bunch behind an 18ish lad whose parents lashed out and bought him a S-Works Venge. He's a handy rider and the Venge is a lufferly bike but after about 5 minutes of listening to his chain squeaking away crying out for some lube I had to fark off to the other end of the bunch.
Pretty much the same as this but with Dura Ace cranks, Di2 and not hobbit size

I should add that one of the riders that was dropped in A-grade was Neil van ver Ploeg. I was hoping to see a show down between Jess Feotonby and Matt Clark but Matt didn't turn up this year. -
Cool. Canadian Mical Dyck won the national cross title on a steel bike with [censored] brakes.
