Board velodromes, particularly when new, are things of beauty. Launceston is a Schurmann track. I think all the others in Australia are Ron Webb designed.

Good thing lotus didn't design that bike in the 70s. It would have been made of fibreglass and canoe glue and would have broke down after 3000m.

It was twenty years ahead of its time, but Boardman won because he prepared well and had a super aero position. Put him on Lehmans FES and he'd still have won.

Fair enough. One of my blocks of land is terrible for snakes. Over the summer I went up there for a wander and had two or three snakes telling me fark right off all before 10am. No respect for the torrens principle nor my 0.0000001% first peoples bloodline. [censored] disrespectful nature.

Why for would you report power poles to the council? They are less than useless. Even 30km down a rural road we rang the power company when lines went down, never the council.

It was the junction box. And I dunno what company looked after it because it was knocked over so there was no sign saying 'call us'
