time for Hincapie to retire?

Agreed that it's time for Hincapie to move on? I could see him managing
a strip club, dressed like a pimp. BTW, I retired my Hincapie kit, into the
drawer. I'm kind of embarrassed to wear it for some strange reason. Nice
guy, but sometimes nice guys finish last, and the wise ones don't embarrass
themselves.

Absolutely. Time for everybody standing lower than say, 35th, to
retire. They obviously don't have what it takes any more. Maybe they
could become commentators on OLN.

I guess if you believed and helped to spread the hype that he actually was a
contender for TdF GC - then you could be feeling a bit embarrassed. Other
than that - no, I think he may have a few good stages and one day classics
left in him - with the right team support of course.

Then, after that, yes to the whole strip club and pimp suit thing. Or, he
opens a shoe store for pimps.

I still watch the stage in full Postal kit while riding my trainer. I
switched to black socks when Lance did. Depending on the stage I try to use
the appropriate bike. Tomorrow I will use the same bike that Lance bonked
on during the stage to Joux-Plane. I had to switch my chamois cream after I
saw that Lance used Assos.

I have a hard time stitching myself but I have been testing with super glue.
The first time I tried the glue I glued my right hand to little Frankie. I
was shocked that no one noticed it but when I asked a friend he explained
that it was my normal position so of course no one noticed. I couldn't
argue with him.
