Anyone got any thing they don't like about the new GT's before I pull the

Looks alright, personally I'd go for the 4" one, especially if your upgrading from a hardtail.

Keeping the hardtail, the guy in the shop reckons the 4" as does an MTB
mate of mine, but that 5" looks like it will better suit the riding I want
to do... (seeing I am keeping the hardtail) ... a bit more downhill, not
the mad [censored] the young guys do, I enojy it but I am having a hard time
boucing over stuff on the hard tail, and the steep rake gives me a few anus
puckering over the bar moments and mostly XC, fark the uphill 🙂 and of
course the 4" is $500 cheaper, which gets me a new helmet, bike computer
and a few sets of tyres with change.... seems alot less, not quite sure
what the difference in price is for ?

I think you should go rigid single speed.
