Quoted message said:I had some won ton wrappers left over from making Damsel's shrimp
rangoon. Some shrimp, too, so I made some wontons filled with chopped
shrimp, scallions, garlic, and a little bit of hoisin sauce.
Shallow-fried them because the oil smell doesn't quite fill the house
as much that way. Also made shrimp fried rice, so it was a
shrimp-a-licious dinner, and we liked it a lot.
What did you eat?

Went to a friends place for dinner........
Started the night with a bottle of Kirkton Vale 2004 Chardonnay
Semillion with nibblies of marinated baby octopus, kalamata olives, a
King Island Blue Brie and a Jindi Brie. (The olives were theirs, the
rest was mine!!)
Mains was beef stroganoff with pasta, a lovely tossed salad, fresh baked
dinner rolls and a couple of bottles of 2003 Margaret River Shiraz.
Dessert was home made Mango icecream, sliced fresh pears and a baked
vanilla custard.
Throw in a very eclectic stimulating conversation, and it was a damn
good night!!
