Lybbe, I'm piggy-backing on your post since I didn't see the original.
:-)
The recommended minimum daily intake for fibre is 25g for women and 30g for
men. I haven't seen a recommended maximum daily intake number. I
fluctuate between 30g and 45g/day and haven't had any ill effects on those
days when it's the higher of those.
For the OP, is there a reason you're asking the question?Lybbe said:

but it did come with a lot of calories, too. -

:: Seriously, the result could be too much farting.Really? Interesting. I didn't connect fiber and farting. I normally get
over 25g a day but haven't noticed such a tendency. -

What did you eat to attain that number?I average about 30g per day and can't conceive getting even close to 166g.

If you get too much I think you might know what the result is. There are
days when I eat way too much lettuce. -

At one point I was up to three heaping tablespoons of Metamucil each
day plus all the usual salads and veggies. As long as you work your
way up to it gradually it's not a problem, you just make shorter trips
to the bathroom and use less toilet paper ;-) -
