    Does anyone out there with a Torker AX know if the frame will fit a
    trials wheelset? If so and if they were to sell it individually that
    has huge potential to be a nice lost cost and low weight trials frame.

    I would imagine it could also make a good low cost alternative to a
    wilder style frame for Muni. I would love the 29er frame on my 26er.

    I'm going to bump this thread, as these have been around for a while
    now.
    Could be cool for street/trial if you dont need a flat crown. Judging
    the performance of other Torker frames might suggest that it would
    break easily tho :S
    Maybe if the frames were available on their own, then people might try
    them for a trials uni.

    only wheelset you could use would be cotterless or profiles. the bearing
    holders are machined for 40mm bearings. also, doesn't the LX wheelset
    (same one used on the AX) use different bearing spacing? so even if
    40mm bearings were used, there's no guarantee it would fit.

    True, I wouldn't worry about making 42mm bearings fit in there
    personally, not a big deal. Spacing and tire clearance is the next
    question...
