Anyone looking for a good online shop for mtb parts should check these guys out....
www.torpedo7.com
I have bought a fair bit of stuff from them including a set of Maxxis High Roller XCeption tyres that I fitted to my dually a couple of months ago in preparation for the Scott 24hr in Canberra. Just prior to the race a couple of weeks ago the rear wheel developed an "egg" in the sidewall and so I had to change it for another tyre prior to the race starting. Yesterday I sent an email to torpedo7 with a couple of photos of the "egg" and today I got an email saying that a replacement was on the way.......woooot!!
It is worthwhile getting on their weekly specials email that comes out every Monday as there are some pretty good bargains to be had on a regular basis.
Thanks guys......keep up the good work!!!

*disclaimer* I am no way affiliated with torpedo7 apart from having purchased stuff from them.

Hey, can I have copies of those photos? :-)
C'mon. You don't need his photos, just a picture of your own tyres and The Gimp. Or was it Photoshop that Gags used?

Yep - these guys came in very handy when I was building up the MTB.
*shakes head* at the first two replies... I know these are tongue-in-cheek, but its efforts like that which cause companies NOT to be so customer friendly.
oh, and watch those snakeys on the Yarra Trail.. I saw my first one of the season the other day!

I concur. Steven bought socks and the sizing listed was different to that on the site. Turns out they had two slightly different packets and hence the confusion, but they had no worries sending his replacements out straight away (before receiving the others back) and even included a cute little Torpedo7 patch kit.

OK, I suppose I'll have to atone for my sins by placing another order. Bugrit. ;-)
I will second this. Just recieved my first order from them, service was excellent, and when they did not have one of the items I ordered, they upgraded me to a more expensive item FOC. Prices cannot be beaten in OZ. A class act, I just wish they had more roadie stuff.

I think I have about 8 or so of those patch kits now.....they even sent me one with the replacement tyre that arrived while I was away in Brisbane this week. Guess I should get around to patching some of the multitude of 'one flat' tyres that I have collected over the past 12 months or so......one day.

How can they send out these kits with 6 useable patches plus others and some glue for free, when LBSes sell the patches for 50c each? Methinks some marketing advice is required: Hey you, sell it to me for a fair price and I'll buy locally! Until such time, I'll keep buying over the net for 40% off landed.

He's sponsored by a tube maker? My tubes usually have at least 6 patches before one is so bad it can't be fixed.

We got a bucketload of tubes from torpedo7 at $3 a pop and he can't be bothered patching. So he buys the new ones and I patch the busted ones and get them for free.
