I rank today as one of my best days in the fells ever. The weather was absolutely superb and I had a scramble from Great Moss up to Pen (Scafell Pike subsidiary summit) and then up to Scafell using Lord's Rake and the West Wall Traverse. There were inversions all over to boot! A really memorable day - photos @ http://www.stridingedge.net

Fantastic Photos.
Miss the usual Angus shot!
Never done the West Wall Taverse, how difficult is it, how much exposure is there?

Thanks Gerald - Angus gets out enough, I think! The WWT is no worse than Lord's Rake itself, just a steep scree slope. Yesterday there was packed ice at the very top which made it a little trickier than usual, but nothing too extreme.

I'm not jealous at all, I spent the day replacing a toilet siphon. -- Mike Reid Walk-eat-photos UK "http://www.fellwalk.co.uk" <-- you can email us@ this site Walk-eat-photos Spain "http://www.fell-walker.co.uk" <-- dontuse@ all, it's a spamtrap
