Hi All,
Was wondering if anyones knows if you can hire a trainer?
I've searced the Yellow Pages for a few gym equipment hire places, but none of them seem to hire them out. Would I be best checking bike stores, or is it something that isn't hired out.
The reason I ask is, I don't want to go out and buy one just yet (restricted by $) and want to try one, or different ones out before I decide if I want one or which type of one I want.

Big W have them for a tad over $100 for the wind trainer... which is obviously the cheapest type.
I've never heard a rental place for cycle trainers as they favour straight gym equipment... In any case, if you were able to rent one, you'd still be paying some bucks...

Thanks.
Wasn't sure if 'investing' a little money to try them out (hiring) before I decided what to spend that would suit me. -

Try second hand - people often list unused trainers on eBay or other sources.I would imagine that hiring for more than a a few weeks (if you could find a place that does that) would become uneconomical, since you'd probably be able to buy one for that price.

Second hand(as above). Can try it out and if good - keep if no good - sell. You're then selling it in the same condition as what you bought it in and shouldn't loose $. If you do it will be less than having to pay for hireage🙂 -
