for those of you who do any indoor training on your trainer, what do you use to keep yourself cool? does anyone put a little fan in front of you or something? because i know when i train indoors, the sweat just pours out and i look like i just got out of a thunderstorm.

I use a huge pedestal fan and sometimes even turn on the A/C in addition. I tried a little table-top fan but that didn't cut it.

small fans don't work, buy the biggest fan you have space for that has several speed settings.I'd sweat buckets without it but don't turn up the speed to full until after my warmup and then turn down when I'm cooling down to avoid a chill.

I've got a big floor fan. A good fan is essential otherwise you're going to overheat very quickly (ie bigtime heart-rate elevation) -
Yep, this is one time when size really does matter! Go big!

I don't use one, but my garage is usually low 60 degrees. For any kind of interval session, I sweat a shocking amount. I need to set up a fan for sure. Next year I'm going to do the Kona triathlon in the heat, so I just might leave the fan off and try to make the room warmer to closer simulate Hawaii.
