i thought they were eaisier than hickflips, you dont have to flik as
fast, just ride at a decent speed and lean a little bit toward your
leaning foot and jump as high as yhou can

once i get these on film its backflip time...

I wasnt saying there hard, I found it pretty easy to land. Like I said
I landed one first try, rolling in-to-in and it was easy, I think I
could easily land another in like 5 mins but its wet here and I have to
do work.
So you landed them?

How long have you been riding for spoonthumb? There hasnt been a
callout for a while, I am making a new vid to celebrate having been
riding for a year and as it wouldn't be too hard to do I could easily
make it a callout.

How long have you been riding for spoonthumb? There hasnt been a
callout for a while, I am making a new vid to celebrate having been
riding for a year and as it wouldn't be too hard to do I could easily
make it a callout.

ten months in a week, i know you dont think their hard marcus,
everything easy for you😉 i was just saying that i think their easier
than hicks, i still only land hicks maybe 50 percent of the time but
these are alot more consistant...

Ok cool.

I dont find everything easy, when learning new tricks its rarly
anything like easy, I normaly end up hurting myself pretty bad but I
grit my teeth, use the pain to fucus myself and most importinatly learn
from my mistakes. The more I fail the greater my determination grows. I
like to push myself and I love riding. When I get hurt I pick myself
back up again and land the trick/line I failed on when you finaly land
the trick the pain always seems to go away and its always worth it.

i agree there is always a mental aspect of commiting yourself to the
trick and it seems you have got that down, i on the other hand have
not, i believe thats all thats holding me back from 540s i land them
sometimes maybe 1 outa 50 tries but i think its just focusing yourself
and commiting to landing the trick...

Yea comitment is key to landing anything, when it comes to sets and
riding 6ft high skinny I find it hard to block out the aspect of fear
but I picture myself landing it and focus on the trick, ignoring the
dangers or what can go wrong, once I land it once I am fine. If you
start thinking of what could go wrong and picture yourself failing you
stand almost no chance of succeding. There is a fence that is about 6ft
high and 3 inches wide, I can easily ride a skinny that wide if it was
at ground level but it took alot for me to ride the fence, I kept
telling myself that I could do it and that it was realy wide and that
was what made it for me, that was tough.
