I waould love to have one. I look at bikes and my advice would be to get a liquid. It mainly depends on if you race or not. If you do race, a Fuel 80 or better would be for you. If not, the Liquid would be great. I wouldn't be afraid to race with a liquid either.

The Fuel 98 and 100 is actually hugher rated than the liquids. however, the fuel 90 is lower rated than the liquid 10, treks lowest end liquid

I just bought a liquid 10 and if it is the low end of liquids I'd say dont waste $$$ on the high end ones. I plan to race, and from trials its gonna be a nice ride to race on. However if you have money and want to race, get a fuel 80 98 or 100 they cost more and dont take hits as well but ar good for racing.Besides mt liquid is all adj travel parts, so if I want to I'm about 1/2 and inch short of being able to freeride, or just in the range of travel to race.
    Good luck.

  8. fuel for suuuure. i like the liquid and all, but that carbon fiber fuel is oh so tasty... if it's good enough for lance, it's darn well good enough for me 😉 😄

  9. and what's wrong with a good old hardtail?...

If you're on a budget, I'd stick with a hardtail, you'll get far more bike for your money, try the Trek 8000 or 8500, or a Specialized Stumpjumper, all very good bikes and several hundred $ cheaper than their fully suspended counterparts.
