No, I consider Dally to be a nickname. It's a version of my birth name
as much as W* is, but more accurately reflects my online persona and
helps insulate between my work life and private life.

I don't have a problem with people knowing who I am, just have a problem
with people linking my online name and my "business" name and my last
name all in the same place because I'm all-to-aware that my views enrage

exercise that sounded like an internet lift and I didn't have a video
at the time. Then there were issues with how my descriptions
corresponded to what happens in the video and what the proper name of
the move might be. I wasn't more put down by Charles than say by Steve
who'd refuse to grant me ability to do a one-arm pullup because I used
a wrist strap. Fine, it's not a one-arm pullup but whatever the name
might be. None of that is a problem.

somebody clear something up for me? ISTR seeing a couple references
to the fact that "Charles" is actually the sock of another MFW
regular. Is this true?

Not really. He changed his internet name, but has been upfront about his
identity. He basically dropped the identity with his true name and went
with Charles.

I've done a similar thing - went from my actual name to 'Hobbes' and
sign Keith at the bottom. I suspect most people know Hobbes is actually
Keith Hobman. And most of us know who Charles is as well.

No [censored]? I thought Hobman decided to become a Las Vegas high roller
and dropped out of MFW completely.

I was just out of town for a few days, and haven't been posting a lot
anyhow. But I'm definitely still here. I'm getting ready to start a
weight training class when the new semester starts in a couple of weeks
and hoping like crazy that I can get some good instruction on how to get
started with power lifting. I'm going to be [censored] if it's all
