Warning: naked hairy wrists on show!Every summer I get a deep tan line on the gap between my shorts and jersey
(damn that bend to the bars). Not too bad you might think, except that it
lasts for almost an entire year, and whenever I bend over I flash what
looks, on first glance, to be the top of a thong.I've since bought shorts with a higher back.

Warning: naked hairy wrists on show! When I wore tight-fitting summer gloves, I'd get a crosshatch tan pattern.

Carry enough stuff in your jersey pockets and it will sag to cover the
gap. :-) -

You should also have pale bits for your socks, shorts, jersey, glasses
(and helmet if worn). Do bald people get stripey heads from the vents
in their helmets? -

My mitt tan lasts the year as well but it gets very faded by the start
of the new year.

I don't think that the pair I currently wear are tight enough for that
and you'd be hard pressed to tell between the grid spots and the
freckles. I should have tanned fingers midway down their length, a bit
like the shorts tan line halfway down on the thigh.

All those except for helmet, don't need a hanging basket on my head, and
the socks are being replaced by sandal straps.

For me that is a tan, seeing as how I'm a pale, easy burn, Englishman.Quoted message said:
