My success rate in tube patching is about 40%. The patching fails a lot because I can't seem to file
off enough of the non-stick sheen on the tube before applying the patch. I want to use chemical
solvents to remove this non-stick substance, any suggestions on what kind of solvents? I've tried
naphtha and it didn't work. Will kerosene work?
