If i do a small amount of cardio e.g 30 - 40 mins Bike; after - the endorphins seem to flow and
i don't feel too bad. However, if i do resistance training i seem to feel really drained of
energy and i am overcome by a generall feeling of unwellness.

Low carbs is for lethargic vegetables that sit on a couch hoping to eat there way a thinner
look(healthier is very questionable) without their pulse getting above 60. Once you add exercise
low carbs diets suck. Your choice, add more carbs or quit/decrease the exercise. Nearly all the
respected exercise journals will tell you must have carbs(no not snickers bars). What percent of
carbs varies with amount of exercise etc. Your body is currently telling you something - add
some carbs.
I'm sure out resident Atkinite and couch potato TC will offer conspiracy retort.
I am not an Atkinite, I am a The-Zonite or just a plain Low-carbite.
I would suggest that on days when a person is doing strenuous exercise, one shouldn't skimp on good
carbs. In fact most *good* carbs are not packed with huge amounts of refined carbs like pasta,
soda, bread, chips etc. So I would say eat all the veggies and fruits that you want as long as you
are active.
Less active people may want to minimize the amounts of the more starchy and high-GI fruits and
veggies such as potatoes, sweet corn, bananas, grapes, etc.
Eat all the lettuce, broccolli, cauliflower, tomatoes, etc that you want.
Any approach to food consumption, like low-carbing, that emphasizes more fruits and veggies and less
refined junk carbs can't be bad for you.
