My turn on 14 June. Uggh. Presuming all goes well - that's
the scheduled closing date.

<snort> I had a near panic attack just yesterday... a lady
friend of mine whom I occasionally do work for asked if I'd
be able to help her out another time or two before the big
move. "Sure," I say, "the 14th is a lloonngg way off. Here,
let's just look at this calendar...Arrgghh!"

Is anyone else having this problem? The month between May
and June is missing on the calendar! Where did it go? Why
are all of the calendars defective this year? When will our
missing month show up? After September might be nice but I
really could use it where it belongs... Arrgghh!

LOL... I think I'd rather be horse whipped at 12th and
Olive, at high noon, naked, than move again. I don't know
where you moved from (house, apt or high rise) but you'll
soon nest in. I was totally out of my element when we
moved. I'm a city boy. All of my adult life has been spent
300 feet off the ground with a small terrace and container
gardens. One thing I quickly learned, I can not call the
maintenance man to change a light bulb, or fix anything
else for that matter.

I'll never move back to the city. I love it here. Your
dinner sounds delish, BTW. Sounds like you are progressing
quickly in your new digs. Congrats on your new surroundings.

it's interesting to see how you prioritize. for us, it was
the last-minute stuff, the coffee pot, the mops, the
dishsoap and drainer.

Unpacking started with those items, then putting away the
kitchen stuff first, then moving on to the closets and
unpacking boxes.

Oh, oh, oh! Moving, I hate moving. One year we moved 4 times
and haven't since 88 now. But it will be happening again,
once we retire in 3 years. I feel for you! It is such an
awful lot of work!

With me it was the bedroom and bathroom stuff. Iknew I'd
want to shower and crash after the move. The bedroom had to
be the first priority for me. Next was the kitchen stuff.
Bedroom, bathroom then kitchen. I could survive for awhile
that way while sorting out the rest of it.

I think my weekly calender goes something like "Sunday,
