Quoted message said:We moved. Mostly.
There's still art on the walls of the old place, still
yard implements as well, though not on the walls. Other
items, too, I'm sure, but I'm too whupped right now to
think about it clearly.
I got the smoker pit in the new back yard and the gass
grill, too. The electronics are installed at a primitive,
but functional level.
And I cooked in the new place tonight. Grilled flank steak
with a red wine/shallot/garlic/mushroom sauce. Grilled
zucchini with a balsamic and pepper crust on 'em. Grilled
potato wedges. Steamed artichokes with an
avocado/mayo/lemon dipping sauce.
It was a little shaky, but mostly good.
Tomorrow, I get the washer and drier hooked up. They
didn't cooperate today.
Oh, and the art. And my shoes.

LOL... I think I'd rather be horse whipped at 12th and
Olive, at high noon, naked, than move again. I don't know
where you moved from (house, apt or high rise) but you'll
soon nest in. I was totally out of my element when we
moved. I'm a city boy. All of my adult life has been spent
300 feet off the ground with a small terrace and container
gardens. One thing I quickly learned, I can not call the
maintenance man to change a light bulb, or fix anything
else for that matter.
I'll never move back to the city. I love it here. Your
dinner sounds delish, BTW. Sounds like you are progressing
quickly in your new digs. Congrats on your new surroundings.
