Lately I have seen a rash of folks riding with noisy wheels. Mostly, Carbones or Zipps with valve stems clacking everytime the wheel loads/unloads in the rotation.

What are you folks doing to silence the problem?

One strip of electrical tape 'bout 1 1/2 -2" long. Cut slit in center. Put valve stem through slit and secure tape to outside of rim. Done. Simple. 100% effective. Guaranteed not to rust, rattle, or wear at the heels.
