    Mark (and others)
Please leave alt.support.cancer out of these discussions.
Look up at the "to" /address and delete it when replying.
    Thank you.

    I see you're using giganews
alt.support.cancer's Charter forbids crossposting outside the cancer
    community and trouble-making.

    # Other Abusive Posting
Giganews strongly defends the First Amendment free speech rights of those
who post their viewpoints through our servers. However, these rights must
be exercised with respect for others on Usenet. Giganews will not tolerate
posts that are clearly abusive, particularly if they are unprovoked or
obviously meant to inflame others or to disrupt a newsgroup.

By using the Giganews service you agree to our Acceptable Usage Policy and
agree to take measures to deal appropriately with those who disregard
    these provisions.

They also have a policy about crossposting and respecting newsgroup
    Charters.
    http://www.giganews.com/aup.html
Each newsgroup can be considered as a separate "community", where those
who regularly use the newsgroup have standards for what is appropriate and
what is not. These standards can vary from one group to the next. Many
groups have written charters and FAQs that reflect a consensus of those
who regularly use the newsgroup. You should always read posts in a
newsgroup to learn what is considered appropriate before posting to that
    newsgroup.
    # Crossposting
A few binary newsgroups, such as certain music groups, encourage posting
to more than one group at the same time, as long as the content is
appropriate to each newsgroup. The majority of binary groups and almost
all text groups, however, discourage any form of crossposting. Please
consider that a thread in a text group may begin as appropriate to two
newsgroups, but followups may soon become "off topic" in one of the
    groups.

    # Off-Topic Posting
Nearly every newsgroup has a stated topic or acceptable range of topics
for posting or discussion. Blatant disregard of the intended subject
matter in a newsgroup will be treated as abusive posting. Posting off
topic material in large volume or with apparent malicious intent will lead
    to immediate account termination.

Change your bahaviour, trim off alt.support.cancer from your replies or I
will report you and get you terminated from your current ISP/newsserver.
    This is you 2nd notice.

Whether the vitamin E used in the study was synthetic or food-grade
    should not be overlooked.

If you don't even know, why are you commenting?

    Quoted message said:

Your statement that the study showed
"vitamin e does not have the benefits widely claimed *by
scientists*..." is ridiculous. First, which chemical structure of
"vitamin e" are you talking about?

The statement is a fact. Read the damn studies.

    Quoted message said:

    Besides that, one study cannot
refute earlier positive health benefits attributed to the same nutrient
in other (and, in fact, more typical) populations. While puppies may
like to talk about science, they should probably stick to licking their
    chewy bone.

Look who's talking. You haven't even read the studies.

    moo

moo, I"ve asked politely, now I'll tell you.
I have gotten people bumped off symptico for violating alt.support.cancer's
    Charter.
    Please stop crossposting to alt.support.cancer

Good of you to repost the entire thing just to whine. This entire thread is
posted to alt.support.cancer. I didn't add it. As well, I don't recall you
mentioning this before this brash display of ultimate power. Perhaps you
can refer me to the post where you "politely" asked me not to xpost.

  4. MHA's charter forbids bottom posting. You are in violation.

Why don't you whine about me and I'll whine about you bottom posting and see
    who gets results?

    This is your last warning.

Stop bottom trolling. At least post like a man you execulink baby!

  5. it's possible most vitamins are actually negative nutrition, meaning the
body spends more resoarces processing it than it gets out of it, so it
might be more like eating candy than health food.

Have anything we can link to to back that up? Might be an interesting read.

  7. There is no evidence of your hypothesis.

No, I don't think that's possible at all.

These are my opinions only, but they're almost always correct.

that conversant with the word 'shame' either." (Will Durst)

No, I don't think that's possible at all.

What if your body already had plenty of the vitamins you gave it?

Either they'll be stored in fat, or they'll just be eliminated in
urine. The energy expenditure either way is negligible.
