The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition asked the Google Doodle team to create a "bike-themed" doodle to help kick-off National Bike Month in May. Google Doodlers, as National Bike Month approaches in May, bicyclists will be celebrating the benefits and pure awesomeness of riding a bike - all month long. As a nation, the United States still has a long way to go in acknowledging the solutions that bicycling offers for transportation, health and the environment.
It would so great if Google could be our cheerleader for one day with a special doodle to kick-off National Bike Month and the simple joy and freedom that comes with riding a bike.
