  1. Can anyone tell me if epinephrine is added to the local anesthetic if a vulva biopsy is done under
straight local? Thanks in advance for any answers.

  2. I know nothing about the vulva; in general it is very unusual to biopsy anything other than with
xylocaine plus epinephrine, when you are doing it under local.

  3. that is a question you need to ask the person who is injecting. Epinephrine used to be included in
the local anesthetic for dental work but my dentist told me that is not now always the case. You
    need to ask.

  4. It was done in the late 90's but I'm trying to find out almost with certainty whether or not the
local injection would have included epinephrine. The doctor no longer has my records. The procedure
was done in the doctor's office and no cautery was used if that's of any help. Thanks for answering.

  5. I already asked if my dentist uses it and I was told that he does not. Thanks for the reply.

  6. It seems odd that your dentist would be performing a vulva biopsy. Does your GYN clean your teeth?

  7. The doctor should have your records somewhere - perhaps not in the office but they could be
    in storage.

  8. Why are you concerned about this?
